Talking Engines

The Talking Engines range is a series of vehicles released by Fisher-Price initially for the Take-n-Play range and later the Adventures range. It features Talking vehicles which are special variants of existing characters that would talk with a press of a button and would often feature a light up lamp. Some early versions in the Take-n-Play range even made chuffing sounds when rolled along the ground or track.

Many characters were made in this style through Take-n-Play. In Adventures, while standard talking vehicles were made, there were also specific variants that tied into the short lived Adventures YouTube shorts series. As of now, no talking engines have been made for the Push Along range.
